| | - Open Registration begins six weeks before the start of a discussion society.
- Registrants are surveyed on their principle public policy concerns and the top twelve become the course of debates.
- Participants submit ideas on the policy subjects as soon as the list is finalized.
| | | | | | - The Knowledge Base is loaded with information regarding the policy subjects.
- Hosting locations publish their Schedules of Availability.
- Society members reserve a seat at the table of their choice for each week's debate. They can attend the same group each week or change among them.
| | | | | | - Society members prepare for the weekly debates using their own resources and the online Knowledge Base.
- The audience will be small and friendly so participants can focus on explaining their position as well as they can.
| | | | | | - Members attend at least one conversation sit-down per week.
- The sit-downs are unmoderated and last fifty-five minutes. Each member gives a brief statement of their position and takes questions.
| | | | | | - Participants finish each debate with a final position statement.
- The results from all participants are compiled and reported and then integrated into the Knowledge base.
