civil, focused discussion of the important public policy matters of the times

What are your concerns?
  • Participants are surveyed for their Top 20 public policy concerns, which become the discussion subjects for Stick to the Subject.2024.

how it works
Stick to the Subject.2024 is a democratic assembly of people from the Rogue Valley who:
  1. select public policies they are concerned about
  2. discuss them in-person at public locations
  3. submit ideas toward their resolution
  4. create a public record by rating them.

What are your ideas?
  • Participants submit original ideas regarding the public policy subjects. The ideas are rated by the other participants.

1.Think about it.
  • Participants self-study the selected public policy subjects using their own resources and Stick to the Subject.2024's online Knowledge Base, which reports website links, documents, and videos relating to the public policy subjects.
2. Talk about it.
  • Participants exchange views on the public policy subjects at weekly Conversation Sit-downs, which are held in public locations. Sit-downs are 55-minute, moderated round-table discussions where the objective is mutual understanding – not the changing of minds.

3. Vote on it.
  • Participants rate the ideas by voting online using anonymous, ranked voting, creating a public record.

  • Change your mind. Change your vote.
